Even if you can't completely survive off of it you should at least be able to support the cost of your hobby Let's take a look at some of the things you need to do if you're to make any money from this particular hobby.
A female leopard gecko, once impregnated (which only needs to happen once for an entire breeding season), with each successful breeding of a leopard gecko will result in 6 or more babies.That's a lot of babies to care for, meaning a lot of tanks, lights, heat sources, food...and a lot of cleaning to do! Therefore you really need to ask yourself whether you are willing to commit the time, space, money and energy to this endeavor before you begin.
In the leopard gecko world there's a big division in prices between the ordinary leopard geckos and the extraordinary morphs. Of course, breeding morphs (a whole other topic in itself) is not easy, but at least this gives you an idea of the amounts of money changing hands for top-quality morphs. It's no surprise that professional breeders are able to make a living out of what they do.
Consider finding customers
The other option, good when you're starting out, is to 'go local' and sell leos to your friends, family, acquaintances, and people in your local area. Open your own retail store
